Riḍā calls a land sale to any of יהודים YEHUDIM or to an English buyer in ארץ ישראל EREẒ YISRAʾEL or its surroundings invalid and proposes a broad boycott of a seller who persists. His language casts the buyers as wartime enemies. The ruling is antizionist because it seeks to block Jewish acquisition of land in ארץ ישראל EREẒ YISRAʾEL. This page establishes what he urged. It does not show that a sale occurred, that his ruling was enforced, or that a boycott took place. His religious and historical claims remain his claims.
