وكتبت أيضاً مذكرة إلى وزير خارجية تركيا، ناشدته فيها أن لا تسمح الحكومة التركية بمرور قوافل المهاجرين اليهود إلى فلسطين، عبر البلاد التركية، التي كانت الطريق الوحيد خلال الحرب إلى فلسطين، لتعذر السفر إليها جواً أو بحراً، وقد أرسلنا جميع هذه المذكرات إلى تلك الدول بواسطة سفاراتها في برلين.

كان لهذه المذكرات نتائج إيجابية مفيدة للقضية الفلسطينية في بعض الأقطار الأوروبية، لكنها أقامت قيامة الصهيونيين، وكانت سبباً في تقديمهم شكوى علي إلى الأمم المتحدة عام ١٩٤٧ زعموا فيها أن مذكراتي كانت سبباً في منع مئات الألوف من اليهود من الهجرة إلى فلسطين، وأنهم كانوا عرضة للهلاك لذلك السبب واتهموني بأني كنت السبب في هلاكهم، وقالوا في شكواهم للأمم المتحدة إن مذكرتي إلى هنغاريا حالت دون سفرهم منها وكانت السبب في موت أربعمائة ألف (٤٠٠٠٠٠) يهودي!.

I also wrote a memorandum to the Turkish foreign minister, appealing to him not to allow the Turkish government to permit caravans of Jewish migrants to Palestine to pass through Turkish territory, which was the only route to Palestine during the war because travel there by air or sea was impossible. We sent all these memoranda to those countries through their embassies in Berlin.

These memoranda had positive results useful to the Palestine cause in some European countries, but they caused an uproar among the Zionists. They led them to submit a complaint against me to the United Nations in 1947, claiming that my memoranda had prevented hundreds of thousands of Jews from migrating to Palestine, that they had been exposed to destruction for that reason, and accusing me of causing their deaths. In their complaint to the United Nations, they said that my memorandum to Hungary had prevented their departure from there and had caused the death of four hundred thousand (400,000) Jews.
