وعلى أثر ذلك تلقيت أجوبة من أكثر الذين كتبت إليهم، وكانت في فحواها مشابهة لجواب وزير خارجية هنغاريا، الذي أبلغني إياه مندوب هنغاريا الملكي، في كتابه الآتي نصه:

لقد أمرت أن أبلغ سماحتكم، أن وزير خارجية هنغاريا الملكي قد تسلم شاكراً كتابكم العظيم الأهمية، بشأن الإجراءات التي ستتخذ لمنع هجرة اليهود إلى فلسطين، وسوف يولي الوزير مقترحاتكم اهتمامه البالغ.

As a result, I received replies from most of those to whom I had written. Their contents resembled the reply of the Hungarian foreign minister, which the Hungarian royal representative conveyed to me in the following letter:

Berlin, 25 July 1944

To His Eminence Amin al-Husayni, Grand Mufti of Palestine

Ubin by any current.

Your Eminence,

I have been instructed to inform Your Eminence that the Royal Hungarian Foreign Minister has gratefully received your highly important letter concerning the measures to be taken to prevent Jewish migration to Palestine, and that the minister will give your proposals his fullest attention.
