انتهت مذكرات المغفور له الحاج محمد أمين الحسيني بوفاته، ففي يوم ١٩٧٤/٧/٤ توقف عن الوجيب قلباً ما خفق إلا لقضية الوطن ولقضايا العروبة والإسلام، مات شيخ المجاهدين الذي قضى عمره في منافحة الاستعمار والحركة الصهيونية.

(ذهب الحاج محمد أمين الحسيني وبقيت ذكراه. ظلّ يقول «لا» طوال خمسين عاماً من الجهاد «لا» للمساومة والتفريط في حقوق الوطن والمواطن).

Finally, among the causes he listed was: “The acting garrison commander, Lieutenant Emil Jumayyan, did not act to hold firm. His position had been visibly weak from the beginning of the attack,” and he added: “I do not know whether this was because of his moral collapse or because it was deliberate after his return from Amman.”

The memoirs of the late Hajj Muhammad Amin al-Husayni ended with his death. On 4 July 1974, a heart stopped beating that had beaten only for the cause of the homeland and for the causes of Arabism and Islam. The shaykh of the mujahideen died after spending his life fighting colonialism and the Zionist movement.

(Hajj Muhammad Amin al-Husayni departed, but his memory remains. For fifty years of jihad, he continued to say “No”: no to compromise and surrendering the rights of the homeland and the citizen.)

Analysis

Page 510 completes al-Shishakli’s final quoted cause for the Safed defeat and then closes the memoir with a death notice, a laudatory memorial paragraph, and a section break. The closing language presents al-Husayni as a shaykh of the mujahideen and frames his life through Arab, Islamic, anti-colonial, and anti-Zionist commitments. This is the source’s commemorative voice and remains separate from TJD analysis.

The page is the end of the memoir narrative. Page 511 begins the printed index of names, not a continuation of the closing sentence.
