The Jewish Question

In this chapter we will not confine ourselves to speaking about the Jews in Germany alone. We will give a glimpse of their history in different ages and among different peoples. They are the guests of every nation, even though they have always arrived uninvited, for we have never heard of a country that welcomed them, was pleased by their residence in it, or regretted their departure from it.

What does Hitler's program say about the Jews?

Article four of Hitler's program states: "Only a person in whose veins German blood flows, without the least doubt or suspicion in proving it, may enjoy full civil rights in Germany. Therefore no Jew has the right to enjoy these privileges."

The reason for depriving a Jew of these privileges does not lie in his religion. When we utter the word "Jew," we do not mean by it, nor does the word mean, a religious tendency or religious group. The term denotes part of a people, indeed part of a race, as history proves at every time and place. Since Jews who have recently adopted other religions are still joined to Judaism by the bond of blood, why should we not consider them Jews?
