ولقد يتسنى لليهودى أن يكون بناء أو عاملا ، ولكن من يقبل ذلك. منهم قليل جدًا لا يكاد يذكر ؛ وقليل منهم أيضاً من يشتغل بالصناعة أو الأدب أو التمثيل . ولكن صناعتهم التى يجيدونها هى التجارة والذهب واستغلاله . فاليهود غريبون عن الزراعة والحقول والاشتغال فيها. ولكنهم يستولون بسلطان أموالهم على ما تنتجه الأرض وعلى ثمرة مجهود الرجال حتى يصبح كل ذلك غريباً عن أصحابه ومالكيه . ونسجل هنا بهذه المناسبة ما يقوله تلمودهم ، (( إن اليهود بشر وأما الشعوب الأخرى فهى قطعان من الماشية ، فاليهود بشر لأنهم من روح اللّٰه أما غيرهم فهم من روح غير نظيفة وهم بهائم فى صورة بشر ويجب أن يعاملهم اليهود معاملتهم لبهاعهم (١))) ولما كان تشر:مهم يحرم عليهم الاختلاط اجنسى بين الشعوب التى يما يشونها ، كانت صلاتهم الاجتماعية بتلك الشعوب ضعيفة لاتكاد تتعدّى. اللغة إلا قليلا . ولقد ترك اليهودى العبرية وأخذ باللغات الحية من فرنسية وانجليزية وألمانية. قال المستشرق جوستاف أودلف ڤارموند فى مؤلفه سنة ١٨٩٠ عن « قانون التجوال واليهودية »: « إن اليهود وإن كانوا حقيقة رحَّلا متجولين (١) هذا النص مترجم عن الألمانية . إذ لم أعثر على نص عربى أثنا. الكتابة .

translation

A Jew may become a builder or laborer, but very few of them accept such work, and almost none are mentioned. Few likewise engage in crafts, literature or acting. The occupation they master is trade and the use of gold. Jews are strangers to agriculture, the fields and work in them, but through the power of their money they take possession of what the land produces and the fruit of men's labor, until all of it becomes alienated from its owners and proprietors.

In this connection we record what their Talmud is alleged to say: "The Jews are human beings, while the other peoples are herds of cattle. Jews are human beings because they are of the spirit of God; others are of an unclean spirit, beasts in human form, and the Jews must treat them as they treat their livestock."

Because their legislation prohibits them from sexual mixing with the peoples among whom they live, their social relations with those peoples are said to remain weak and scarcely extend beyond language. The Jew abandoned Hebrew and adopted living languages such as French, English and German.

The orientalist Gustav Adolf Wahrmund wrote in an 1890 work on "the law of nomadism and Judaism": "Although the Jews are in fact wandering nomads--"
