  1. כלף בן יצחק KHALAF BEN YIẒḤAK wrote from Aden to אברהם בן יגו AVRAHAM BEN YIJU in Mangalore, sending gifts for his children and greetings to members of the household.

  2. אברהם בן יגו AVRAHAM BEN YIJU, back in Aden after living in India, called his family from North Africa to join him and offered help with the journey.

  3. ר׳ עובדיה ברטנורא R. OVADʾYA BARTINURO reported arrivals in ירושלים YERUŜALAYIM from Aden alongside other cities.

  4. Yemeni ruler al-Mahdi Ahmad ordered the expulsion of יהודים YEHUDIM.

  5. the Mawza exile: Al-Mahdi Ahmad uprooted communities of יהודים YEHUDIM.

  6. ר׳ שלום שבזי R. ŜALOM ŜABAZI departed into exile with his local community, under the reconstructed placement at שבועות ŜAVUʾOT.
