Reinforcements entered the threatened quarter of צפת ẒEFAT under the institutional reconstruction, whose date differs from the scholarly account. These developments show how diplomatic demands and events on the ground remained apart.
What did the international resolution change?

How is this dated?
This is Day 140 of the 599-day civil-date series: 1948-04-17, counted from 30 November 1947, using the daytime conversion ח׳ בניסן ה׳תש״ח 8th 𝑜𝑓 Nisan, AM 5708. The route dates the rundown, not every incident mentioned. Occurrence dates, later reportage and retrospective publication are distinguished in each section and linked study. The convoy and reconstructed reinforcement arrival are morning events on 17 April. The reinforcement’s alternate eve-of-16-April placement is retained. Council adoption lacks a verified meeting-hour conversion. Fighting after sunset on 17 April enters 9 Nisan; the organized urban evacuation is 18 April. After sunset on this civil date, the adjacent Hebrew route is ט׳ בניסן ה׳תש״ח 9th 𝑜𝑓 Nisan, AM 5708; the daily slot does not assign every described act to its daytime route. This uses the fixed Hebrew calendar’s daytime conversion; occurrence precision and sunset alternatives remain as stated.7
