The military history dates a reinforced defensive deployment at חירבת מחאז ḤIRBAT MAḤAZ to October 3. גמליאל ברכאת GAMLIEL BARḪAT’s memorial separately records his death from combat wounds on that date, כ״ט באלול ה׳תש״ח 29th 𝑜𝑓 Elul, AM 5708. He was nineteen and the eldest child in a family of eleven; his parents were מכלוף MAKHLOUF and שרה SARA. ^{1 2}

The biography describes both death at a hospital and death during air evacuation. Its testimony is therefore kept as a source discrepancy rather than resolved by guessing. The exact wound date and death place require medical records. The battle study counts this individual once by the recorded death date.

The original order and nationality letter remain unexamined; the entry does not independently date legal processing of renunciation or the exact hour of the order. ⁴
