JTA reported the ceasefire on November 1 after decisive defeat of the main enemy positions. It also reported survivors escaping into mountains and Lebanon. The ten deaths assigned to the campaign’s latter stages is a period-specific wartime claim, not a checked total for all Operation חירם ḤIRAM. ¹

Hula’s second day is represented by the later indictment’s fifteen-death count and conviction on that count. The original transcript and nominal list remain needed; those fifteen must not be combined with a campaign death estimate without person-level reconciliation. ²

A Lebanese Army retrospective article attributes village atrocity reports to al-Hayat dated November 1. It is evidence of a later attribution; the original issue, reporter and columns have not been inspected. The purported contemporary figures cannot be treated as independent verification or added to village counts. ⁴
