דוד בן-גוריון DAVID BEN-GURION recorded אלימלך אבנר ELIMELEḪ AVNER’s account of earlier population transfers, expulsions, refugees, registration and schooling. The full study distinguishes 548 reported movements, about 1,000 recent expulsions and approximately 5,200 refugees in נצרת NAẒRAT. None is a count of new February 7 displacements. The archive’s English text gives 100,000 expulsions where the Hebrew says about a thousand; the numerical error must not enter the tally.¹²

The diary discusses disability, unemployment and accommodation for discharged soldiers. Ben-Gurion records arrangements for rooms in יפו YAFO, instructing that the matter proceed by agreement with the Arabs concerned. The instruction is evidence of a stated condition, not a deed, a complete owner list or proof of consent in every implemented allocation. Proposed accommodation, actual rooms assigned and wider construction plans must remain distinct.³

JTA describes Abraham Harzfeld announcing government confirmation of a transaction involving approximately one million dunams for the Jewish National Fund. It does not establish that all parcel titles transferred that day or distinguish the ownership history of each plot. Another dispatch reports imprisoned לח״י LEḤI members at עכו AKO demanding release or trial through a hunger strike. That protest is not the later sentencing or amnesty release.⁴⁵
