وفي الوقت نفسه أبرقت إلى السيد كمال حداد مدير مكتب الهيئة العربية العليا في بيروت البرقية التالية:
«هجرة الأطفال وغيرهم من فلسطين للشام وبيروت ضارة بالمصلحة، راجعوا الجهات المختصة بدمشق وبيروت لمنعها وبلغونا».

At the same time I telegraphed Mr. Kamal Haddad, director of the Arab Higher Committee office in Beirut, the following telegram:
“Migration of children and others from Palestine to Syria and Beirut harms the public interest. Consult the competent authorities in Damascus and Beirut to prevent it and inform us.”
