My Lecture at the Young Men’s Muslim Associationby Muḥammad Rashīd Riḍā

This edition presents Riḍā’s lecture in al-Manār, volume 34, number 8, dated 1935-03-05, printed pages 607–611.¹ The bounded pages do not establish where the lecture was delivered or where the issue was printed.

The controlling witness is the bounded facsimile of the cited al-Manār issue.

The Arabic text has been placed on its five printed pages. The four page breaks and every line were checked against the controlling facsimile. The page texts are collated. The older full English draft was placed on page 607 by mistake. It remains in the private source layer and is not a page translation. No page English or analysis is assigned in this Arabic-only edition.

The lecture ends on printed page 611. The separately titled fatwa on page 612 has its own evidence record. The dated article interprets the lecture in its wider sequence. Neither neighboring text is part of this five-page edition.

The rights record clears the underlying text and TJD derived text layers for publication. The collated Arabic transcript and reviewed apparatus are eligible for the runtime package. The facsimile, rough English draft, retired migration files and private Research assets remain source-only and are not packaged. Riḍā rejects reassurance about Jewish sovereignty in ארץ ישראל EREẒ YISRAʾEL. He predicts armed conflict, presents Jewish political work as a threat, and joins that claim to religious predictions about the end of time. The lecture records his antizionist argument and his claims about Jews, British policy, arms and the future. These pages do not prove that his predictions were accurate, that the reported arms shipment occurred, or that every group he named acted as he alleged. His claims about Jews are source claims, not TJD findings.
